Did You Know?
Q. 1. Is Swedesboro a part of Woolwich? Where do I live?

A. Woolwich and Swedesboro used to be one municipality 102 years ago. In 1902, Swedesboro separated into the borough that it is today. The post office is in Swedesboro (across from Spirit Dodge) and prior to 2000, addresses for residents living in Woolwich were addressed to Swedesboro. While Swedesboro and Woolwich are separate municipalities, they maintain a good working relationship and share certain services such as the volunteer fire department and ambulance. On the website, a history of Woolwich Township can be found explaining this more in depth.
