Night Out
"Swedesboro/Woolwich - Night Out" 6PM-9PM @ Locke Ave Park. The focus of the event is to celebrate the efforts of our township citizens, Police, Fire & EMS and our business owners for keeping our community safe. We like to think ofSwedesboro and Woolwich as a safe place 365 days a year where a community works together to: Heighten crime and drug prevention awareness; Generate support for, and participation in, loca lanticrime programs; Strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships; and Send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back. Marios Alexs Lemonade Stand

Mario Carpino is a 2nd grade student at the Charles Stratton Elementary School in Woolwich Township, New Jersey. Mario has been battling four inoperable brain tumors since 2007 and is currently a chemotherapy patient at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.

Mario came up with the idea to host an Alex’s Lemonade Stand in memory of his three patient-friends, Leah, Jenna, and Lenny, who lost their battle to cancer.

Mario’s Alex’s Lemonade Stand will be held on Saturday, June 9^th from 9:00 to 5:00 outside of the Woolwich Fire Department, 1517 Kings Highway, Swedesboro, New Jersey 08085.

Mario’s goal is to raise $3,000 to help fight childhood cancer. Please help Mario’s Lemonade Stand be a success. Mario has his very own webpage, which you can access by going to http://www.alexslemonade.org/mypage/72803
