Ted Otten is currently serving his second term on the Woolwich Township Committee. He grew up in nearby Repaupo and went to high school at St. James in Carney’s Point. He received an undergraduate degree from Drew University and graduate degree in education administration from Gwynedd Mercy College. He is currently employed with the Gloucester Township School District as an assistant principal at the C.W. Lewis Middle School in Blackwood, NJ.
Ted is married to Amy and they have 2 children, Caroline and Jeremy. Since moving to Woolwich, he has always been involved with recreation. He has volunteered his time with local groups such as S/W Soccer, S/W Baseball, S/W Basketball, and Kingsway Youth Football. He is also a member of St. Joseph’s Church in Swedesboro.
After taking office in 2003, Ted has overseen many committees within the township. He has served in the past as the liaison to the PH-58 Committee and the Open Space Committee. He currently serves as the liaison to the Swedesboro/Woolwich Parks and Recreation Committee, the Woolwich Township Environmental Commission, the Plan Petition Committee, and the PMC Advisory Committee. He has also overseen activities such as Locke Avenue Fun Day and the Tree Lighting Ceremony at Locke Avenue Park. Additionally, he was instrumental in the creation of the township website, woolwichtwp.org, and the yearly calendar.

Jon was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA. He has been a resident of Poplar Point at Weatherby since 2002, with his wife Julie, daughter Samara and son Dylan. A Penn State graduate, Jon is currently employed as a Finance/IT Manager with a Fortune 500 Logistics Company.
Jon is a co-founder and organizer of the LaForgia Redington Classic, an annual charity fundraiser supporting the Fox Chase Cancer Center, and has helped raise over $30,000 in the past three years. Jon also has volunteered as a soccer coach for Swedesboro/Woolwich for two years.
